Ricky holds a current ‘Unrestricted Principal Practising Certificate’ issued by the Queensland Law Society entitling him to provide legal services (as a Lawyer) in Queensland and Solicitor in any Federal Court of Australia.
He served as a Police Officer amassing almost 20 years,’ initially with the NSW Police then with the Queensland Police Service, gaining extensive invaluable knowledge and experience in Criminal, Traffic, Drug, Weapons, Child Protection, Domestic & Family Violence legislation, policy, procedure and practices.
Ricky completed a Master of Laws (Applied Law) majoring in Family Law and was awarded a Graduate Fellow of the College of Law in recognition of high Academic Achievement.
He has worked in Family Law (Parenting, Property, Divorce) and Domestic & Family Violence since being admitted, initially with a Boutique law firm in Brisbane, then in a local firm where he started practising in other areas, Criminal, Traffic and Child Protection. His most recent position was as a 'Consulting Solicitor' with a 'Multi-National Firm,' and prior to that as a Hotline Lawyer.
He has performed Accredited Duty Lawyer and Youth Practitioner duties and as a preferred supplier for Legal Aid.
Was also a Lead Trainer and Assessor in Diplomas of 'Crime & Justice and Legal Studies.' Trainer and Assessor in Justice of the Peace Studies, and trained and assessed in Criminal and Abnormal Psychology, Forensic Science and Legal Terminology.
Ricky has strong community ties to the Bundaberg Region having lived and worked in the region most of his life, working in volunteer roles (SES and Justice of the Peace), as a Youth Worker and as a Police Officer.

With 25+ years of knowledge and experience Ricky is a strong advocate for the 'disadvantaged' in particular, the goal being to ensure clients avoid unnecessary lengthy financially and emotionally draining litigation, providing honest and reliable service.
